I just picked up a used S&W model 41 without the owners manual. I'll call S&W on Monday for one. In the meantime can anyone tell me how to break it down for cleaning?
Hello. Make sure the gun's empty. Lock the slide back and remove the magazine. Pull downward on the trigger guard ala Walther PPK. Lift the bbl out and be careful as the slide can try to slide forward and off. That's it. Reverse to reassemble.
