S&W Model 36 page

Well, technically, you're showing stainless steel guns in a lot of your pix.

They're not Model 36s; they're Model 60s.

The Model 60 is the Chief's Special Stainless. Tehnically, the stainless guns aren't even J-frames. They're E-frames, which is how the factory designates a stainless version of the J-frame.

On the other matter, I'd prefer to avoid getting into a S&W
debate. The Model 36 went out of production before the
wretched events. Yes? No?

I think the 36 was in production well into 2001, and may still be in production.

I didn't see a single 36 on that site except for maby a nickle plated one with a T grip on it.
