I hope that someone might know if the coil mainspring on an improved I frame model 30 smith is the same on all other J framed smiths. I am aware that the recoil slide springs for a J frame are the same as K or N frames. Wolff springs has an 8 pound reduced power main spring for the Js, that I hope would work on the model 30.
