I wouldn't buy a new one because of the boycott, but a friend has this old one for sale. In good shape, he want's $250.00 for it. Is this a reasonable price? Thank's for the help.

Sounds like a fair price to me. I would rather have a used one. The new ones are less desireable for several reasons.

Thank you MK.IV, I made a hard copy of the info so I won't leave anything out. The weapon was his father in law's and hasn't been shot but a few times according to his mother in law. She want's to get it out of the house and my friend knew I liked weapons is how this got started. If I get lucky and get it I'll post back with more info. Thank's again.

For an older 15-3 in good shape, $250 is not a bad price at all.

If you get the serial number, give me the first couple of digits, including any letters, and I can pin down an approximate year of manufacture for you.

I'll do that Mike, talked to my friend today and the mother in law was sick. Hope this don't mess thing's up as I was hoping to get it this weekend.
