This may belong somewhere else, but--- How come there is no model 11? I've seen 10 through 19 but no 11!? Any S&W histoian out there that can enlighten me?

According to this site, there was an 11:

The British version proved quite popular as well and in 1947 Smith & Wesson resumed production of the Military & Police revolver in 38/200 for purchase by the many Commonwealth nations. In 1958 Smith & Wesson introduced the current model identification numbering system and this alien counterpart to the American Model 10 became known as the Model 11. Production continued until the late 1960's.

From what I can read the Model 11 was a K-frame in 38 S&W. As such, most were probably sold in the Commonwealth Countries. Regards, Richard:D
