I have a s&w model 1000 and I was wondering how many shells its suposed to have, and it doesent eject shells rite what could remady this problem?

Shell capacity depends.
The Model 1000 has a special magazine block pin that limits capacity to the Federal Wildlife maximum of 2 shells in the tube.

The pin can be removed, and I "think" the magazine then holds 4 shells.

Here's a site with an exploded view of the Model 1000. Click on the picture to expand it.
The magazine limit pin is part Number 39, which passes through the magazine tube once the fore arm is off:

A common problem with gas operated shotguns extracting and ejecting is a dirty gun with the gas system fouled up.
The Model 1000 also uses some "O" rings in the gas system that get worn and cause extraction problems.
Gun Parts sell replacements.

Contact S&W, I "think" they'll send you a manual for the Model 1000.
