S&W Model 10 How old is my gun?

My father just gave me a Model 10 S&W which my grandfather used to own. I have no idea how old it is and am hoping for some help finding out. I see from other post that I'm supposed to XXX out the last 3 so... here goes.C710XXX. Hope to hear from someone, thanks. Wolfman

1952 - 1962: C223999 - C622699
1963 - 1964: C622700 - C810532
1967 - C series ended at C999999
1968 - start "D" series

My model 10 bought new in Feb 1965 was C748xxx

I think HHB thought you were saying 70k instead of 700k. Its probably early 60s with that SN.
