can anyone give me some help in knowing when this gun was made? D874xxon butt 71947 on frame. has a custom six inch barrel,trigger work and bo-mar sights. blue is about 98-99%.wood grips are perfect. need to know aprox value. thinking about buying guy wants $450.00 Thanks

I saw your other thread first or I would have answered here.
That serial number comes from 1976 - 77.
Value? I still don't know.
 
Need way more info. Sounds like it MAY be set up for PPC. If so, and in nice shape, it could be worth $600 to $1,200 depending on who did the work. Post a pic.
