after taking my 617-4 apart to clean it, i noticed the tip of the hand stud was rubbing on the inside of the frame. i removed the hand to polish the tip and now i can't get the hand, torsion spring and trigger back together.
with the "old" system this is a simple thing to do. is there a special tool or something?
after hearing about these new laser eched, chemically rifled and robot assembled revolvers, i think just maybe a robot is needed to put the newer guns back together. is this typical? if so i guess i'll limit myself to the "old" real guns.
if i send the trigger and hand back to smith ya'll think maybe they could put it back together.
never again, thanks, tony
