I bought a s&w model 30 no dash. It is nickel with a set of aftermarket Davis grips. It is in ok condition. A few dings and scratches but otherwise a very nice working revolver. Upon inspection and cleaning, I noticed that the ejection star is black, not nickel. Was this normal for this model or is it a replacement part? I havent been able to find much info on this model.
