Is there a web site where I can find out when a particular model S&W revolver was manufactured? I am currently looking at a 640-1 and 60-9 for sale and would like to find info on them.

I have the Smith & Wesson Standard catalog.. This Book was publised by Jim Supica and Richard Naahs. it is the BEST out there and can be found on E-bay most times reasonable. It covers ALL S&W's and no one should be without one. Regards, Hammer It.
