Anybody have any info on these? The gun is a 3" model 60 in 357 mag with finger groove wood grips, adjustable sights and a matte finish. All I could get was that they were made in 1997. I'll try to get a pic and post it on Monday when I get to work.

I don't understand the designation "Pro Hunter" on a 3" semi-snub. I think it may be a model 60-10 which was a Magnum J-frame with target sights - introduced in 1996. Product Code 102430 was a 3"/357 Magnum/Stainless/Adjustable Sights/ Full Lug Barrel configuration. Matt finish would be correct. Stocks could be wood or rubber.

If this IS a M60-10, it should be a swell little backpacking/hiking/home defense gun, but apart from maybe taking small game with it while fishing, etc., I sure wouldn't consider it a true hunting gun. For that, you want a medium or larger frame and a six-inch barrel.

Thanks Lone Star! That's the same thing I figured as far as the back packing gun. We got a couple of these in at our shop and was just looking for some info on them. It is indeed etched on the side plate with "Pro Hunter".
