S&W M60 pinned barrel worth $300

I ran across a S&W 60 yesterday in a local shop. The gun, for all intents and purposes appears new (I didn't ask to see it, just look through the case). The price was $300. It had a pinned barrel and the standard old style RB J-frame service grips. Anybody got any comments as to whether this is worth the price (assuming it makes the cut with the revolver checkout)? It's been growing on me all weekend (I don't know why).

FWIW, I would not take $300 for my old 79-80 vintage S&W model
60, .38 Special. :D You had better jump on it for that price my
friend. Mine still serves as one of my carry guns.

Pinned, no MIM, no lock and a classic revolver are the good things. It is a 5 shot, J frame with subpar grips and therefore uncomfortable are the bad things. The grip can be replaced. $300.00 is*a good price.

Thanks. I knew you guys would encourage me. I'll give it the close going over tomorrow, assuming nobody buys it b4 I get there. It's on my way home from work. I can't really afford the time during lunch. If it's as sound as it looks, it will be going home with me (this will be my 3rd S&W j-frame and something like a dozen snubbies).
