S&W M60 5"

Okay, for some reason Smith's 5" incarnation of the model 60 which I just saw on their website seems like it'd make a really neat little trailgun. I think it'd fill the niche of hiking / camping buddy better than most .357's out there, especially the 12oz scandium versions (even my masochism has it's limits).
Anybody have any experience with this particular version of the Model 60? How well does it "point" with a 5" tube?? For that matter, any cautionary tales on newer S&W's in general?? Thanks in advance!!

TheSpoGun, you can't go wrong.
How does it point?
Mine, with a 2" barrel points extremely well. Amazing accuracy at...
25 yds!!!
So imagine your next revolver with 5" !

Enjoy!

Once you get to a 5" bbl on a j frame you're pretty close to K frame 4" territory aren't you?

I'd get a model 65 or 66 and enjoy the easier to find accessories. $0.02
