S&W M14-1 manufacture date

I wonder since months what the manufacture date of my M14-1 is.

It is a S&W M14-1, 6" barrel, no target trigger, na target hammer, but trigger shoe, ergonimic sport grips and professional trigger job.

Cylinder gap is a measured .006", way better than that of my '71 M15-3 which has .011

I *love* that gun, only damage is some missing spots of bluing at the barrel.

I know they were manufactured between 1959 and 1961.

Serial number is K4554xx

:( Though I had hoped it would be one out of the 50s..

I payed only Euro 102,53 for it over here in Germany. The gunsmith said (he is one of the 30 best S&W gunsmiths in the country) the normal price for a full trigger job on new guns is Euro 140. A used but like new 686 sells for Euro 500 over here. So a very very good buy and I can't think of a better gun for me. I just like it as it is: barrel length, K-frame, .38 special, target grips, no target hammer but wide trigger with trigger shoe. That gun is miles apart from the 1971 M15-3 I also own.
