I glommed this S&W .22 Outdoorsman this weekend at an auction. Only have the auction pics at this time...

Beautiful!

I've often thought it would be nice to have a swing out cylinder. That one would satisfy me as much as a new S&W 617 10-shot.

Thanks, guys!

Yep, Driftwood...I guess I'm pretty proud of it. Might have gone overboard posting it around the forums.

Has not arrived yet. What does the Call front sight look like?

Here is an auction picture of the front sight

I bought something similar to put on my M-21 classic but don't remember it called a Call. It doesn't pick up the glare like the half moon original did.

Yup

Sure looks like it to me. Congrats, that's a beaut. Do you mind sharing what the $$$ damage to the ol toy fund was?

I finally got to bring the Outdoorsman home.

The grips are in excellent shape and numbered to the revolver.

Bluing and metal match the condition of the grips

Except for a nasty patch of pitting on the barrel :(

a nasty patch of pitting

A little 'character' never hurt a gun. It's less likely to become a safe queen.

You ARE going to shoot it aren't you? Looking forward to a range report.

That's a nice looking .22 in amazing condition. I'll need to keep my eye out for one of those. My 1920's M&P Target in 38 needs a companion.
