S&W Governor good for carry/sd?

I keep reading on the internet that S&W Governor (birdshort) won't do damage(?what?) It will just make someone mad etc.... Then I see the 000 federal buck and it does better.


I have seen different tests, people saying the 000 buck @ 7-14 yards doesnt work then others show pictures of it working perfectly.

So whats the deal and these bashers? I seen some pretty good videos of it holding tight groups with buck000. Are these people just bad aimmers and complain?

I am about to droP $700 w/taxes on a new gun and don't want to be disappointed. This is a S&W so I dont think I will be.

I heard birdshot is "worthless in a 2inch barrel"

The fact I can't miss with it, like if a snake chases me or when I am biking and these nasty dogs chase me and always try to bite but havn't yet. Is a good pro.

Carry here is not a problem OC/CC legal printing legal, I have an over shirt and I use a shoulder holster for larger guns.

. Even at 7 yards, the pattern of the Judge is too wide, and will cause some of the load to miss a bad guy. Not only are you responsible for every pellet you send down range, but if they miss him, they do not Stop him.

but this is a judge, a bit different than S&W governor.
