At this moment 19 Ns, 14 Ks, and 2 Js. But this is always subject to change. One N and one K are scheduled to leave the reservation next month and come spring I will hold a garage sale and God only knows what will be left when the dust settles.

But most of my favorite Smiths are N frames.
 
I voted L. I like shooting my 686, nice size, easy action, smooth trigger.

L is not the nicest carry gun, though. For that, J is best. Shooting one may be a little painful after a number of rounds at the range. But it's small and light enough to carry easy. And, realistically, almost nobody is actually going to have to pull the trigger on it "for real".

I have I, J, K and N frames. I have more Ks than Ns but, a N frame is the Jeep CJ of the firearms world. Reliable, dependable and they bring you back alive.
 
Like many of the above I have several Smiths, I like the little J frame but the work horse is My Model 19. I pratice with 38s and and carry 357s in it.
 
I don't have a "favorite" because it's a too much apples and oranges question. If you need a small gun, an N frame won't do. Conversely, if you need a big gun, a J frame won't do. Which , I guess, leaves the K/L frames...
Of course, that would raise the neither fish nor fowl quandry. I'm sure glad we have choices:) .
