S&W "Blackened" Stainless Snubs

I know that a limited run was made of the 442 and others that used just such a finish. Can anyone direct me toward a source or site that would have that serial number range? I've never had an inkling of patina on mine, and I suspect it may be one of those. Thanks. BTW, it IS a pre-sellout purchase.
