Would some body please explain to me what all the "letter" frames mean???
I always here people say "oh thats a J frame" or "thats a K frame" makes me wanna say LMNOP...
Seriously, I don't understand it all.

The letters designates the size of the frames.
J-frame is todays smallest frame.
K-frame is the medium sized frame.
L-frame is also a medium sized frame that is just slightly larger than the K-frame.
N-frame is the large frame.
X-frame is the extra large frame of the new Model 500.
I kinda figured it went smallest to biggest, I just wondered if there was somewhere I could find a "these model #s fall under these letters" type chart...the X frame is the one that I do know...
