Please tell me about this gun I played with one, at the gun shop. This was used, in prime condition. dealer says I can have it for 299.00.

That's a good deal. Even now one of them is in my pocket. I chose it over the .38 because of the extra round and lighter recoil. It is much easier to shoot well and if you lose anything due to the .32 over a .38, IMO you make it up with the extra round.

1. Good price for the gun. The cheapest I see new is $370s.

2. The issue of the extra round - that's a toss up because:

a. Most DGUs are deterrent with no shots fired.

b. When shots are fired it is usually 2 to 3

c. You assume that your markmenship and the situation is such that you actually get to the sixth round.

So it is nice to have it but I don't think the extra round compensates for the lesser caliber.

That being said, I would happily buy the gun.

Somebody please tell me where I can aquire such a great deal in the Atlanta area on the exact same gun!! ;) My girlfriend has been after this model for months now. ;)

Nickster,

Did you purchase this gun? If not, do you live in Texas? This is a great deal and I would like pick it up. Let me know how it shoots.

I got my wife the S&W Titanium in .32H&R Mag, and it's a nice shooter. It has noticable recoil, but not as much as a similar pistol shooting .38Sp, and I don't think you give up that much firepower with the .32Mag.
