S&w 745 Ipsc

I like S&W semi autos and have several with no negative experiences. Am now looking at a 745 ANIB with multiple mags that will also fit my 4505. These guns are beautiful and were made for a relatively short run. I view the 745 as the Performance Center offering of its day.
Don't need it but will likely give it a good home as another investment for the family. Beats the hell out of the stock market.;)
Anyone have experiences with this model?
Thanks,
mac

The one I worked with shot great, but I never could get used to the slide safety after years of Colts and the occasional Browning. If you can, you will have a better than average piece.

My favorite thing about the 745 is the trigger which is one of the crispest factory triggers I've ever experienced though it could be lighter. The sights are great and the accuracy is excellent. My biggest problem with the 745 however (aside from the slide mounted saftey) is the high bore axis and light muzzle weight which create a pistol that has significantly more more muzzle flip than something of the 1911 platform. Other than that, the 745 is a classy piece.
