Had one similar but with 8 3/8" barrel. Most accurate handgun I ever owned. Accuracy equalled the custom shop 686 Hunter I got later. Hated to sell it but had medical bills to pay.

Great revolver. I’ve had one with an 8 3/8 barrel on my wish list for a few years. How does that front sight work, what’s with the numbered screws on the top, some kind of presets?

I believe the front sight can be pre set at four different distances so you don’t have to fiddle with the rear sight when you progress farther (for example 50/100/150/200 yds)
