S&W 65 Trigger Stick

The trigger pull seems to stick right after the cylinder locks just before the trigger breaks. What could be the problem and can I fix it?

Most double action revolvers have a stack up feel just before the trigger breaks. Is this what you are talking about?
you can pull the trigger back in double action to a point where it breaks like a single action shot.
Regardless,I would give the gun a good cleaning first, and then see how it does by pulling the trigger straight through till it breaks. No pause.

I've seen this on a lot of newer Smiths. The hand is probably binding up between the ratchet and hand window. Many of them are fitted really close. A good 'smith can take care of it pretty easily if it bugs you too much.
