In what condition? With, or without lock?
Just a WAG, I traded my 642, not airweight, for a Glock 42 and got $275..great shape but not new.What can I reasonably expect to get for a S&W 642 airweight
Guns in this price range are best sold face to face as the cost of shipping plus the cost of a FFL at both ends can easily turn a $300.00 gun into a $380.00 or more gun.
I thought all 642's were Airweights?

Picked up a new no-lock one for $379 a few months back at a LGS here
Thank you..maybe I would have been happier with the 640..really disliked the 642..too 'snappy' for me..partial trade for G42..640 is all steel, 642 is the Airweight.
They are going at 450+ at LGS used.
