S&W 640 holsters

Hi all,

What are some good IWB holsters for a S&W 640 snub nose .38. Also anybody use inside the pocket holsters w/ this revolver? Any suggestions.

I have Hogue rubber monogrips on this piece so I don't think I'll be ankle holster carrying. Everything else though if it works well I'll probably do. This is one handy little revolver!

I have a Galco Scout IWB for my 640. It has the J-hook attachment. I carry it at the 1 o'clock, and sometimes 4 o'clock, position. It is quite comfy and conceals well under an untucked shirt. I also have a small Bianchi belt slide that has a strap that secures the weapon over the back of the trigger gaurd. This is also a pretty nifty holster.

Here's one just coming out (e-mailed to orsogato, and just now found a site to post it from). It is for appendix carry (my most natural place to park a J frame), between the belt buckle and the hip. The off-center clip and the smooth-side out allows it to shift slightly with your movements, helping the comfort level, but stays secure. Lou Alessis' fine hand molding and the belt pressure require a little more break-in time, but when this is achieved, it is quick to access, very concealable under a wide range of tail-out garments, and good for all-day comfort.
