S&W 627 PC Grip Problem

I picked up a S&W 627 Performance Center revolver. It has the shorter grips that I can only keep two fingers on. I'd like to replace them with a longer grip. I really want the one that is in the picture below, but S&W says they don't know anything about them. I even showed them this picture and they said - yep, that is one of ours... I have tried these on a 686 and love them. So does anyone know who makes these grips or where I can find them for an N frame?

Congrats on a great revolver, I love mine. I can't say who made the grips but I use Ahrends grips on some of my guns, they feel great in my hand and give a great solid feel. Good luck with your grip hunt.
 
They're Altamont grips. From what I gather, that style of grips were the originals on earlier 627 PCs. I'm with you on the latest style being too small..and they're WAY too thin.
