S&W 625 or Taurus Tracker .45 - market price?

Thinking about getting a .45 Auto revolver... mainly because I happened upon a cache of .45 Auto Rim and it's always seemed a neat idea.

Anyway, I've only had one revolver (GP100 Ruger) and haven't looked at them much in the past, so not sure what's a good price range for these... Any help?

(Please don't turn this into a "S&W should be cast out, forced to eat ashes, and take succor in the love of the beasts of the field until the End of Days" thread, just give me the prices. THX)

I use the 625 in matches and have two, just in case one goes bonkers at the wrong time. They are super accurate and smooth. Out of the ransom rest they both do under 2 inches at 50 yards. Reloading really makes the fat 45 bullets shine. And the auto rims are more fun for plinking than moon clips. That Taurus with a short barrel might be nice.

Taurus 45 lc

I have a 45lc version of the Taurus and I paid $410 otd 2 weeks ago. It is a 4" version and it is a dream. I have to work on a good load for it for hunting. It is fairly accurate and does not flip up to bad. The fit and finish are typical Taurus, with a very good lock up and stiff but smooth trigger pull. Great gun. I would like to get a 45 ACP version also. Remember it is not IDPA legal due to porting and the 5 shot might be a problem with stages. Would be a great 5 shot pin gun. It is the size of my S&W 66 K frame.

I bought a nearly NIB 625 (marked 1989) with the box, papers, etc. last weekend for $425. Haven't shot it yet but it certainly feels great in the hand (or at least as great as those godawful hogue rubber grips can feel) and has a sweet trigger.
