S&W 625 .45 Colt VS. S&W 25 .45 Colt

I have a S&W 625 .45 Colt which is made of stainless steel. It was manufactured in 1989. Are there any differences in strength and durability between it and the S&W 25 .45 Colt made of carbon steel?

Thanks

I am not an expert in metallurgy, but I thought stainless was a tad stronger than the same size in carbon steel. Not so much that you can hot rod the 625, but I thought stainless had a bit more durability. I recall back in the 1960s Chrysler sold racing suspension and frame parts that were the exact same size as the OEM parts but were made of stainless and Chrysler claimed they were stronger due to the material.
