S&W 617 price

in the northeast.....

NJ to put it bluntly......the best price I could get in this state
was 519.00, and while I love the gun, and S&W in general (own several)
I opted for the less expensive Ruger Single six ss with 4 5/8" barrel.
cost around 200.00 less. :(
 
I got mine off Gunbroker.com NIB for $480 plus $15 shipping and then paid my FFL holder a $10 fee. So IN ALL I paid $505 for it and that is the best price for a NEW one that I've seen. I live in AR, btw, not that it matters when you shop online.
 
I bought one at S&W while on a "fieldtrip" :cool: to their Shooting Sports Center - paid about $550 if I recall. You can definitely beat that with some legwork though.
