S&W 58 / 41 Mag Fans?

Call me old fashioned...I have a place in my heart for the .41 Mag. Used to own a Ruger Blackhawk and a Smith Model 57. Always wanted to own (and never even had the opportunity to fire) a Smith Model 58. Anyone out there have any experience with this weapon or any general comments/stories about the much maligned and under appreciated S&W 41 Magnum? Yeah...I know...get a 10mm. I just like the old horse...

I am a great fan of the S&W Model 57. I have owned literally dozens of handguns in my life time and the only handgun I currently own is a 6" Model 57. It is a beautiful blue and shoots great. I intend to deer hunt with it this fall. I also feel very comfortable with it for home defense. All of the autos and other revolvers take a back seat to the Model 57!! Stubby
