I guess most everyone has seen that I had to sell my 610-2. I could not bear to part with the set of Spegal boot grips it was wearing. On a whim I installed them on my .45 Colt Mountain Gun. I noticed the difference carrying it in the holster right away. Less printing, more comfortable ect. The real suprise was shooting it today. The .45 Mountain Gun is one I do not feel I have to hotrod to get the job done and I have discussed loads and ballistics on other threads. Long story short, I could not tell much difference in shooting it with boot grips and the Hogue mono-grip. I guess I am used to hanging on to a bucking MK40 but the big revolver was a joy to shoot.
