S&W 340PD or 360PD?

What do you like better and why?
I think the 360 looks nicer but the 340 wont hang somewhere when trying to get it out of the pocket quickly.
Still, I would like to hear (or read!) some opinions.

IMHO, one does not really need to practice single action shots out of a snubby (what for?). You can hit things with it to 50 yards in double action. I tried my 442 against a steel ram @ 100 yards last Sunday and I was consistently hitting 3 of 5 with a best of 4 of 5 holding on the "spine".

So IMHO, since the hammer is not needed, the 340 is better suited to snubby applications.

I agree on the looks, but the 340 won't snag, and that is why I like my 640 so much. Plus, in a pinch you can shoot while it is in your pocket, and it will be more likely to fire. This is good if you want to keep it hidden until the last second, then the last second only allows a point as best you can (you may be on the ground) and fire. It is not as nice looking, but functional and reliable. I have others that I like to just look at sometimes... :)

I looked at the S&W 340PD recently, but could not handle the $620
price tag for this "pocket rocket".

Best Wishes,
