was wondering if anybody could recomend some one to work on the trigger of the 340pd.awful stiff ,was hopeing to smooth it out some.have already tried 11 pound rebound spring.
 
yeah i have the same gun, just bought it a few weeks ago. I would like to do the same. thanks for the info. does the wolf spring kit smooth out the action, or does it make it a lighter pull?
 
where are you ? if your in the va area we have one of the best. i would wait it out, get some snap caps and go nutz. i have a 342pd and at first i thought the pull was too heavy, after a cople of trips to the range and alot of dry firing it really smoothed out.
 
Out of curiousity, can you safely dry fire the 340PD (or any S&W revolver for that matter)? Or do you need to use snap caps?
 
The spring kit does not smooth it out. Dry fire is good because it helps you and smooths the wear points on the action.
