Well I bought this new gun yesterday and I'm going to try to take it to the range tonight. I let everyone know how it goes, I think it might have a little kick to it :) . I was sold on it for CC as soon as I picked up the SP101 and compared it to the S&W Airlight. Its a night and day weight diff. Now he did tell me about the sharp recoil but to steal a quote I heard from some one "A light gun gets carried and while a heavy gun gets left at home". I'll keep everyone posted with what I think.

Alaskanmonte,

I've had my 340SC, the silver colored version of yours, for about 18 months and I've put about 500 rounds of factory and my reloaded rounds through it.

It kicks like a mule but is accurate. I use shooting gloves when shooting it because my old, brittle skin breaks easily. I've learned that blood comes off the Sc/Ti very easily. TIP: Put a band-aid on your trigger finger.

Check for bullet pull. I've found that Federal 130 gr Hydra-Shoks do not pull.

The 340 is my "always" gun because of its weight. I hope you enjoy yours,

John

Thanks for the info John, I appreciate it. I didn't get to go to the range yesterday, but I'm going to go sometime this week. I read in the owners manual about checking for bullet pull, but thank you for the reminder.
