I have a 325PD airlite with a 2 1/2" barrel and a Colt Lightweight Defender and as for carry and personal protection, I have Remington Golden Sabers 185gr and 230gr. I also have Speer Gold Dot 200gr +P but I prefer the carry Golden Sabers as self defense loads. Now the 230gr Golden Sabers will beat the crap out of my hand in either gun, But since the Defender frame is aluminum alloy and the 325PD frame is scandium alloy, which gun would be best for 230gr and which would be best for 185gr Golden sabers. Both are darn good firearms, Im just wondering which frame would take a better beating with 230gr and +P ammunition. Also explain your experience with either one of these if not both with these type of rounds and the best grain to use for hollow points in both of them. Thanks guys!
