Hello everyone. I was wondering if anybody could tell me who,or where I can get a solid value on my S+W .32 cal. 4th model nickel plated top break revolver. It's in 98-99% condition, with factory box,and 5 rounds of S+W .32 cal. ammo.I have paperwork with it,from S+W,that my father received after an inquiry in the mid 70's, that states the revolver was shipped from S+W on March 1st,1890.This piece is really beautiful, and I would like to find out what it is worth. I don't really want to buy the Blue Book of Gun Values just for this one revolver, so any help would be appreciated.:)

Sorry about that carguy,I meant to do that. I probably should have checked it before posting. Anyway, this has a 3 inch barrel, and the letter from S+W,is signed by mr. R.G.Jinks,dated 1975.:)

Hey Capper. For one as nice looking as that one try posting your questions and pictures on the S&W forum. You will probably get all the info you need there.

Second the motion on going to the S&W Forum. They have an "Antiques" section which is where your question would fit, and there is an army of old geezers there who keep an eye on that section. Your condition is exceptional, and you have the factory box, which is a big plus value-wise. It will be worth pretty good money.

Well, I tried the Smith and wesson forum to find out the approx. value of my .32 cal., and I got 3 replies. so far, we are at about $650.00 plus. Nice revolver.;)
