S&W 15-5 new to me

I was browsing one of the local gun stores last week and saw this gem in the case.
Well as usual I was not able to resist. The price was right at $500.

It has the 6 inch barrel.

It is only factory test fired. It has box and papers, but not tools.

I think the DOB is some time in 1986.

For now it will be a safe queen. I have its brother in 4 inch and a cousin M67 in 4 inch that are shooters.

She's a beauty. Very little drag line on the cylinder. Great find - worth every penny.
 
Model 14 vs model 15 6" - maybe the trigger and hammer.
My 14-4 has target trigger and wide spur hammer
This 15-5 has narrow trigger and small spur hammer.

Does not seem to make sense --- my 15-4 4" has target hammer and target trigger but tapered barrel.
 
Beautiful handgun

6" is not my taste, but I understand she's a collector and that's where the true value lies.

A 4" 67 or 15 is my 'grail gun' been saving up my x-mas money for one of those beauties.
