Hello all..... My neighbor wants to sell to me a s-w 15-4 nickel . Very good shape , bright and shiny bore and cyls. Forcing cone looks brand new. H e wants me to get out front on price. Whats fair?? Any help I'm greatful for.

Depending on condition, (very good is not descriptive enough) and whether it has the original box cleaning kit and SAT, I would say that it would sell for $400-550 here in Northern Nevada.

Nickel adds a small premium for some folks but a 90% nickel finish will look worse than a 90% blued will.

I just bought this 15-3 with the box, but nothing else for $400. Condition is about 98%.

Fantastic guns

Nickle will be at a premium. But, it's gotta be the finest example of a combat revolver ever produced.

A 15-3

2 inch in at least 95% condition I paid $550 for last January or February. No box or extras. I paid a little more for it because of the 2 inch barrel. At that time did not own a snubby S&W.
I would definitely pay this much and maybe more for a really nice nickeled model 15. Like highpower stated the box and paperwork will add some to the value.
If the nickel finish has any issues I would try to buy for under the $500 price mark. There is not much that can be done to fix a damaged finish on a nickel gun.
The model 15 is a great gun that is a ball to shoot. If you buy it I know you will like it. Just about the perfect size for plinking or punching paper. JA
