S&W 14-5 info request

I have read that these pistols are not so easy to find.

.38 spl, 6" bbl, full under lug, combat grips, nice blue finish.

Looking for production years/runs and thoughts as to value.

The SCSW says the intial run was for 2000 guns in 1991. It then says the full lug barrel became the standard production in 1992 but does not give any numbers on how many were made.
The M14-6 started in 1994.
I gave up on giving values. Today's prices....sheesh!
 
Thanks for checking. I guess the value is what someone is willing to give! I was curious about it because I loaned my son some $$$ and it is the collateral. I kinda like it enuff to keep it!

I looked on gun broker and gunsamerica, only found one for sale. But if no one is looking for them, then it's just another gun...
