You've asked for it, and RWVA is bringing to you!

Three consecutive days of shooting clinics, guaranteed to take you to the next level as Rifleman:

Saturday, May 28th: We begin with the RWVA 500 Yard Marksmanship Clinic, where we'll warm up with the 25M AQT challenge and work towards the 500 yard range. We'll get everyone sighted in first at 300 yards, then at 500 yards, and wind up the day knocking down popups at 300, 400, and 500 yards. We'll also learn to allow for wind, which at 500 yards can blow you shot right off the target. But we'll learn about the limited conditions under which that is likely to happen, and how to deal with it in a routine fashion. A full day of shooting and learning, followed by pop-ups and other surprises!

Sunday, May 29th: Next day, Fred will be teaching the Revolutionary War School of the Rifleman, where you'll learn about practical rangefinding, target detection, and counterdetection/camouflage. No highpower shooting on Sundays at the RWVA range, so we'll spice things up with a .22 rimfire challenge, and, depending on interest, a field-trip with battle rifles that afternoon to another great Carolina rifle range!

Monday, May 30th: The weekend's festivities finish with the annual Memorial Day/American Rifleman Pop-Up Shoot, so bring lots of ammo and be ready to remember those who fought and died for our freedoms. AQT, Pop-ups, Counterattack, Battleground -- it's all there!

Time: 8:30 am; shoot 'til dark or out of ammo; Sunday class begins at 10 am.
Place: Revolutionary War Veterans Association Range, Ramseur, NC
Entry: $35 in advance each event/$40 day of shoot
Special: All three events, paid in advance -- $100 even!

Extra special deal: We have some limited availability for camping (no electricity/RV hook-ups) on the range available for $10/night. See the RWVA Forum for more details.

Great facility, great folks. All skill levels welcome!

Bring 400 rounds minimum per day, and be prepared to shoot fast and well. Sunday participants are encouraged to bring their .22 rifles for some real fun!

Did I mention to bring enough ammo? An extra rifle might be a good idea, too, unless you have shaken the bugs out of your main stick.

Iron sights preferred, but scopes can be used.

Any centerfire rifle caliber .32 or smaller is welcome.

Just bring your desire to shoot well and learn.

Special bonus prize for the shooter(s) who travelled the longest distance to get there!

Directions:
US-64 to Ramseur, North Carolina. South on Route 22.
Go about 2 miles, left on Old Siler City Rd. Go about 2 miles,
and go thru Parks Cross-Roads. Turn right on Willie Wright Rd.
Look for range on left.

Remember: if you're just talking, you ain't shooting!
