P Pahoo New member Sep 10, 2016 #2 Just in time !!! ???? I'd say yes as that rust looks pretty "green" or fresh. You may have some slight staining left but for the part, should be okay. get after it and let us know how you made out. ....... Be Safe !!!

M mete New member Sep 10, 2016 #3 0000 steel wool ,oil,and something like RIG before returning the grips .Make sure you clean the grips also.
