Rust on Benelli

I recently acquired a used preban (1990) Benelli M3. So I finally fully strip it and there's a little rust on the internal parts. I've gotten all of it off the internal parts and there's still some rust on the mag tube. Any ideas on the best way to clean it? I've tried CLP and I keep turning towels yellow but there's still some rust on the mag tube. The rust runs all the way from the muzzle end to where it disappears into the gun.

Very light oxidation (rust) can be removed with very light rubbing with 4/0 steel wool soaked in CLP. Heavier rust means refinishing, or just being lived with.

I'll probably be trying these out this weekend...Also, does anybody happen to know how to disassemble the mag tube so I can clean the follower, cap, and inside? I'v managed to take most everything else apart.
