Russian Target Pistol IZH-35

Anyone have one of these? I have been eyeing them for 2 years now. Initially, I bought a Ruger Govt. Competition model since I wanted a really durable gun. Now I keep coming back to one of these Russian Target pistols. Seems like a lot of gun for the money. They go for just under $400. I have seen a couple of websites that mention the gun as a good starting point if you are interested in competition. I'm interested in hearing from any of you that have one or have shot one personally. If you have one, how is it holding up? Also, are 10 shot magazines available for them?

Three really good Bullseye shooters at our gun club have these guns and shoot them as well as their fine Hi-Standards and other top class target pistols. One gun had to go back because of malfunctions and the company replaced it with a new one. I fired a 10-shot 1.5" group with one of them offhand at 25 yards with a red-dot, first time I ever shot it. Just one comment on this pistol. The wooden grip just doesn't fit many people's hands. Try it out before buying!
 
I have one. More accurate than I am. It ran great for about a year, then developed feeding problems. The best EAA (the importer) can do is to say send us $50 and the gun and we will fix it. It may be a magazine problem, but I have not been able to isolate it. They were real fast on the email reply, like I emailed on Saturday morning and had a reply Sunday night.

As for the grips, some users like the wood grips because wood is easy to shape to one's hands. For me the grips work fine. The trigger is adjustable, can be moved somewhat to account for finger length.
