Russian SKS Question....

I have my eye on an unissued Russian SKS. The rifle is real nice looking, and has not been reworked. My question is, is it common for these rifles to have minor scraps and dings even though they are listed as unissued? Thanks.

A few minor scrapes and dings should be normal. These unissued rifles(pick any type of unissued rifle) are generally unpacked, cleaned, regreased, and repacked a few times in their life. Plus, the people that handle these in the first place aren't viewing them as someone's future personal property.
