Running Fiocchi FMJ through Colt 1903?

I understand this round is warmer than other FMJ's. Anyone shoot it through a Colt Hammerless? Did it cycle OK?

Like the .25 ACP, the .32 ACP is what it is, a low power round fully capable of killing at short range, but with little margin for error in bullet placement. Of the pistols (and some revolvers) that fire the .32 ACP, the Colt Model 1903 is probably the best made and most durable, with the Walther PP/PPK next if DA/SA is desired.

The 1903 Colt is a truly classic pistol and will feed any standard ammo. Fiocchi is the most powerful commercial load in .32 ACP. I have also shot many thousands of hand loads through mine and never had a problem. The 1903 Colt is also built like a tank and not easily damaged. Most important, it was Humphrey Bogart's favorite pistol.

IMHO the top brands of .32 ACP FMJ for general all-around target work* are Fiocchi, Geco, PMC, and Selllier & Bellot (S&B). These will generally work in anything.

I've heard the same about Prvi Partizan (PPU) but have never personally shot any.

Remington and Winchester are loaded weaker than the others and won't function consistently in some pistols. Not sure about the Colt in this regard.

*FOOTNOTE: I personally don't use .32 ACP for self-defense.
