Why is it when i register a car in Maryland there are State provided brochures on the state car laws,
but when you by a gun there is nothing provided on State & local gun regulations?
I understand that in Montgomery County there is a No fire zone that covers most of the county
In fact, i understand it prevents me from shooting my paintball marker in my own backyard

Not that anyone has provided me with access to this law
I can find no record of it on the Montgomery county website
but i understand that the Police have a map they can show me.
I gather the common man finds out about these matters when the neighbors complain

Gun Owners need the rules of the road when they buy a gun

Its a daunting project but it is worth undertaking

Keep on calling (from a payphone if you don't want them to get your name and number) about the laws. Get an answer, write it down, and then call again with same question a few days later. I did and found that I am able to do anything I wish at the residence that I live and open carry is okay in this state. Also, most lawyers offer free "consultations" for the first visit.. call them up. Be sure to record the conversation, write down the names of those you spoke with, etc.. May or may not help you but hey, it may be interesting.
