Just thought I'd share.
It was time for a new cell and after hunting for the last couple years and dealing with some issues, I decided to buy the G'zOne Type-V phone. I mention this only because of it's features and being hunters and out doorsman that we are, we need something rugged and can take the outdoors. The phone was also tested by the military for potential use, but not sure if it ever made it or if it was, in fact, used for a short time.
The phone is a bit more bulky then most of the new, trendy phones, but it's well worth it. It's water "resistant", but can be submerged in water up to 1 meter, is dust proof and shock resistant.
The phone also has navigation, a 2.0 megapixel camera (I already have two deer pics from bear hunting) and many other standard features.
I wanted to share for anyone who likes to take cell phones on hunting trips and needed something that will handle the elements and being banged around. BTW, the navigation isn't free, it's about $10 for a subscription and I think that may be for a year...but haven't fully looked into it yet.
I have Verizon, so I am not sure if any other companies offer the phone.
Mods, I know this is borderline for being on the topic of the board, but I still thought it was good info based on the general reason for posting.
