Just an FYI. The good people at Hogue provided me some info that otherwise can't be found on the web ..that I know of.
If you are shooting a Ruger Super Redhawk, Hogue has a new monogrip for it that is better than the original that you see for sale everywhere. This grip was the one that they custom designed for the new 'Alaskan' SRH. It's thicker and slightly larger than the standard SRH monogrip, which means that since most people shooting these are larger than average people, that they finally have a grip that fits your larger than average hands well.
The standard Hogue monogrip for an SRH is P/N #80000 and the new 'Tamer' grip designed for the SRH Alaskan is P/N #80020. Ask for it by part number from your favorite seller or call 800 GET GRIP to order direct.
