Ruger Single Six

Anybody know of any good pistol smiths? I have 2 old style single sixes, one has a step in the forcing cone and shaves and collects lead. The other has a better forcing cone, but I would still like to have it worked. Thanks, Fred.

Best bet is to send it back to ruger and let them do heir magic!
Any parts for a ruger will have to come from them anyway?:D

Good advice, Pete, but not very practical. Buying $100+ worth of precision tool for a one chamber job doesn't make sense. For 1/10 that, he can send the gun to Ruger who will probably fix it at no charge if the gun was shipped out that way. If he calls them in advance they may even pick up the shipping charges.
